The history of Glycine actually begins with the person of Eugene Meylan, a 45-year old watch engineer, competent innovator and businessman who launched Glycine with the production of pocket watches. In 1930 Meylan presented the world with a perfectly functioning, self-winding watch of his own construction.

Ref. 3835 is tribute watch to Eugene Meylan. With stainless steel cushion case and absolutely spectacular dial in Art Nouveau style this watch is already a collectors piece in it's own right.

With the beauty of the 1960's and the technology of today, the orange appearance of Airman SST 06 is why it is lovingly called the 'Pumpkin'. The vertical black-grey divided dial is encircled by a 'pumpkin' coloured rotating bezel. This new SST model is also available in two other variations with a graduated shading of blue or black rotating ring. It is equipped with an ETA 2893-2 movement, has a diameter of 44 mm, and is water-resistant to 200 metres. It also display 3 different time zone.
